Storm staff member Jason Belmonte won the 2010 Samho Korea Cup.

After the win Belmonte commented on his performance and the Storm ball that helped him to the victory “I used the War™, an overseas release of Storm, which is a pearl Hy-Road™. It’s crazy good!”

“It would let me play up the lane on 45ft of fresh, then slowly move left, then when the lanes were fried, going 30ft down lane 6ft in the air was no problem for it. It would still send ridiculous messengers after bouncing 30ft down the lane.

The final today was a little crazy too. I have never seen a title match when neither player had a double somewhere in the game. It wasn’t because of bad bowling either; stubborn pins just wouldn’t give us a chance to double.”

Belmonte averaged over 250 in round robin match play to earn the No. 1 seed for the stepladder finals in the 2010 KPBA Korea Cup.

The two-hander, who made the cut to the top 12 in sixth place averaging 228.25 for 24 games, fired games of 239, 245, 187, 250, 258, 255, 290, 268, 233, 266, 287, and 245 to rocket to the top of the leader board. Belmonte won 10 of his 12 matches worth 300 bonus to finish with 8801 total and an overall average of 236.14 for 36 games.

Congratulations Jason!!
