Dorin-Ballard wins Women
If you got a chance to watch ladies bowling on ESPN today, you would have witnessed Carolyn Dorin-Ballard break a PBA televised record for most strikes in a row. Throwing 20 straight strikes in a row, Carolyn was unstoppable en route to the title over Stefanie Nation and Jodi Woessner in the finals.
Carolyn came one strike shy of shooting a perfect game on the new Petraglia Scoring System. Needing a strike in the 10th frame, she left a solid 10 pin. She converted the spare flawlessly and threw enough strikes to edge out Jodi Woessner and Stefanie Nation in the finals.
