Just received my trap today. I had a very strong layout drilled…I have a ball speed of around 19-20mph with a rev rate of 540. I bowled 3 games with it and fell in love with it….hits like a semi. My first 3 games with it I rolled a 761 on a house shot that has been bowled on all day. even with all of the carry down it still turned the corner strong.very happy with the Hammer staff on this one…..
i just got mine 3 days ago and the first game out of the box was a 229. it took me a few frames to find my spot with this ball but when i did i finished the game with 8 in a row. ball is drilled strong and wow im very happy with it. it made my day tho when i was bowling next to a guy with the corner and asked the pro shop guy how did he get the trap it just came out. my trap was the first one sold and rolled down the lanes. will have a video hopefully this weekend on youtube

One of my teammates just got one. He's got a lower rev rate, but it definitely hits like a truck. One of the best Hammer bowling balls I've seen.
What is the best cleaner for this type of ball?
Used the cleaner recommended for the ball. They recommend the Powerhouse Energizer Spray Cleaner by Ebonite. I just purchased my ball and it was gummy and dirty after three games. I tried the cleaner and it worked great. If you need to polish it to get a little longer skid, try their Powerhouse Factory Finish. I ran through three practice games today on some poor alley conditions and the ball still rolls good and finished strong. Very nice ball….but you learn to expect that from Hammer.
