Hi Mitchell & Adam,

I would have to agree with you that the Virtual Gravity is the most aggressive piece I have in my bag. I've been throwing my Rogue Cell more and I'm really liking the reaction I've been getting from it. Both are great balls.

Hey Brian
I'm going to Nationals on the 23rd of March and want to revamp my arsenal. Current bag contains NVS THS 4.5 Pin from PAP Stacked, RAW ACID THS 5" from PAP, LM Counterstrike Pin on PAP (Fred Borden's Tournament layout) I've never liked this or found a shot that liked this layout. My PAP is 6 1/8, 1/2 up taken off a Target Zone so no flare. My style is Strong Tweener average 212 to 220 depending on house ball speed (Normal 15.5 When shot starts to dry out 16MPH then when shot is Dried Out I'll hit 17MPH). I have a new 2nd Dimension NIB undrilled 3 Pin 2.84TW 15LB 3oz. Want to buy NIB Cell Rogue 15 or 16LB. What Ball characteristics (Pin TW) and how would you suggest for laying out these two new balls to take to the Nationals. Last year at Nationals AE scores were 630, 649 & 607 We broke the shot down over board 7-8 then played around 10 for most of the tournament maybe 3 or 4" belly. We're planning pretty much same attack.
Arsenal this year would be the 2nd Dimension and Rogue Cell

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated. I'll need to order the Rogue early and have them ship when available to the public.

From what I've seen, and what a lot of people will say right now...it is the Storm Virtual Gravity. Watch the video of Brian and the guys throwing it. It's hard to argue.

Out of every ball in the world, can someone tell me what ball has the most hook.

Actually I've just watched your videos on talkbowling.com and got a lot of help on understanding the drilling options. I'll be working on finding my positive axis point within the next few days.

Hey Brian Halstrom. I am a high school bowler who currently averages a 195 with a tweener style and medium speed. I usually throw a Hammer Toxic, and everyone knows it's time to add a new ball to my bag. I have trouble getting the Toxic to react on a lot of conditions and can not throw the angle I'd like, so I've been looking at the more aggressive Rogue Cell. I'm not familiar with Pin to PAP, so I was wondering if you could help me select a layout. Thanks a lot.

Hey Matt,

How have you been? Good to hear from you! My opinion on the Virtual Gravity is that it is one of the most aggressive balls I've ever thrown, hits like a truck to boot. I haven't had a chance to get it on many tournament shots so I'm not sure how it would work there. It will definitely eat up the house shots though.

I got a chance to throw the Rogue Cell and it's right up there with the Virtual. It doesn't hook as much as the Virtual, but then again, I don't think anything does. The Rogue Cell rolls great and actually allows me to play on more lane conditions because of the coverstock. Both are great balls. We'll have a video out for the Rogue Cell up very shortly.

Hi Randy,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Rogue Cell. I'm happy to hear that some of my reviews are helping other bowlers with their ball drilling decisions.

For the Rogue Cell, I really like the way the coverstock allows you to play the lanes. A layout that I like that helps me get a better midlane roll on fresh conditions is putting the pin under my fingers. This combination with a dull coverstock tend to work best on fresh conditions for me. When I have the pin under my fingers and polish the coverstock, I get a more angular reaction down the lane that works better when I have to play outside or when the lanes are starting to move more.

We will be posting the Rogue Cell ball reaction video very shortly. We've got three different layouts on the video so you can see how each of them roll. From what I've seen, they all seem to roll pretty good! Then again, it is a Cell, so that's kind of to be expected right?

Hi Shaun,

We are getting ready to launch the reaction video for the Rogue Cell within the next day or so. We're just putting the finishing touches onto it now.
