Whey Protein by Curo Nutrition

Recently I’ve started to work more protein into my diet and one key ingredient I’ve added has been the Curo Nutrition Whey Protein. It’s actually one of the better tasting whey proteins that I’ve tried. I’ve tried the Strawberry flavor and vanilla flavor. It is also available in chocolate.

Here is the product description for Curo Nutrition’s Whey Protein:

Whey protein powder is an excellent source of protein, surpassing whole-egg, soy, beef, casein and milk in its biological activity in the body and its ability to deposit nitrogen in the muscles. Whey is also a rich source of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA), which make up one-third of the amino acids in muscle protein. Whey is the only protein source that contains immunoglobulins, which are essential to maintaining functions of the immune system.

Curo Nutrition Whey Protein Powder supplement is formulated to be an efficient and rich source of protein.

• Provides 18 g of protein per serving with no lactose or fat
• Enhanced with 100 mg of L-glutamine and 300 mg of the branched-chain amino acids,
L-leucine, L-valine and L-isoleucine to further support the muscles
• Provides 10 percent of the daily value for calcium per serving
• Provides the important proteins B-lactoglobulin, A-lactal bumin, immunoglobulin and lactoferrin
• Contains stevia, a natural sweetener shown to have no affect on blood-sugar levels
• Seventh-generation whey protein, considered the superior generation of whey, takes more steps to remove unwanted components (such as lactose and fat)
• Purified by microfiltering
• Processed through ion-exchange, which increases its biological value (utilization by the body)
• Hydrolyzed, a cold-spray drying process, results in smaller, more-refined whey particles
• Manufactured from cows not treated with rBGH (a growth hormone)
• Certified for Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) in facilities with “A” grade from the Natural Products Association

If you’re looking for a good tasting whey protein to try, I recommend giving this one a shot. It’s got all of the essentials you need plus is packed with protein.
